Director Sandeep Reddy will be seen opposite Trupti Dimri opposite Prabhas in Wanga’s film ‘Spirit’. After Deepika Padukone’s withdrawal from the project, now the makers have officially announced the name of Trupti Dimri.

The actress has also confirmed this on her Instagram. After being included in the film, Trupti wrote on her Instagram- ‘I am still not sure. I am very grateful to include in this journey. Thank you Sandeep Reddy Wanga. I feel honored by being a part of your vision.

Trupti has previously worked in ‘Animal’ with Sandeep Reddy. The film made him popular across the country. He also got the tag of the National Crush due to ‘Animal’. This will be the first time Trupti Dimri and Prabhas will share the screen together. Talking about the film, its pre production work is going on at this time. Shooting of the film will start soon.

Sandeep’s first choice was Deepika Padukone

Let us know that earlier the shooting of this film was going to be held in the year 2024 but due to Deepika’s pregnancy, the shooting was averted. After becoming a mother, Deepika refused to do the film due to her busy schedule. But Sandeep wanted Deepika, so she changed the schedule according to her, after which Deepika agreed to the film.

A few days ago, it was reported that Deepika Padukone has been given a fee of Rs 20 crore for ‘Spirit’. Demand for Deepika has an eight -hour shift, thick fee, share in profit and not speaking dialogue in Telugu. Deepika became a mother in September 2024, so she wanted a shift of just 5 days eight hours a week. Sandeep was not happy with all these demands of the actress, after which she removed Deepika from the film.
