Zaragoza has become this week the epicenter of the debate on the future of the Spanish health system with the celebration of the 24 National Congress of Hospitals and Health Managementorganized by the Spanish Society of Health Directors (SEDISA) and the National Association of Nursing Directors (ANDE). An appointment that has exceeded all previous expectations, since for three days it has gathered More than 3,000 participants. Specifically, the appointment has had a total of 70 sessions and about 300 speakerswhere the main challenges of health have been addressed from multiple perspectives: technological innovation, sustainability, leadership and patient -centered care.

The importance in the early diagnosis of high -impact diseases, Hospital infrastructure transformationthe integration of sustainable technologies or effective management in changing health environments are some of the topics that have been addressed these days by the hand of experts that have announced the importance of betting on an innovative approach in the provision of services with the aim of improving the quality of care, the patient’s experience and the efficiency of the system.

Throughout the Congress they have been held Tables on disruptive hospitals, artificial intelligence, rare diseases, health communication, transformational leadership, socio -health integration, precision health care and digital therapiesamong other issues. International sessions, practical workshops and the presentation of projects focused on the patient’s experience have also been developed.
